Radiant Shadows- Melissa Marr

The fourth book of the series is my favorite thus far.  Ani and Devlin’s story has the most convincing love story, intriguing plot, and resounding consequences of them all.  The ending was complete enough for me to be satisfied, yet unresolved enough for me to anticipate the next book where I can only hope for some sort of resolution to the Aislinn/Seth thing.  While I had thought I was moving past Marr’s faieries, this book brought me faithfully back to the fold.

Overall: A-

More in the realm of Fairie

Fragile Eternity- Melissa Marr

Marr returns us to the world of Seth, Aislinn and Keenan in this the third book of her Fairie series.  The plot of this one focuses more on Seth, who is my favorite character.  While the course of the plot was pretty easy for me to figure out, I was happy with where it went and the ending leaves huge questions to be answered in the next book, particularly with the infuriating boy king Keenan.  Overall, Marr continues to build upon her great successes in her previous books.  My one pet peeve: where is Leslie!?
