Chekhov Gets Celebritized →
I think I just made up that verb—celebritized. Whatever. Ben Greenman of The New Yorker has taken Chekhov writings and added celebrities to entice our fame-obsessed society into reading. I’m still on the fence about these literary mashups. It appears that most people have really responded to the Jane Austen ones and to some extent the Tolstey Android Karenina.
